Buddhist Psychology for Everyday Life: Dealing with Anger
A Georgia Tech "Options" Class with Gen Kelsang Mondrub

Sorry, GA Tech canceled this class because not enough people registered for it. We will try again in the spring of 2008. To stay informed, please join our email list. Also visit the locations section for the most up-to-date list of locations near you.

This six week course will address a common emotion that we all experience and often fall victim to...the mind of anger. We will explore from the Buddhist perspective topics such as:

  • What is anger?
  • Is anger beneficial?
  • Why do we get angry?
  • How to transform anger
  • How to deal with angry people and conflict

Through engaging the teachings with sincerity, there is no doubt that students will notice a marked improvement in their peace of mind and overall satisfaction with their daily life and relationships. We will be using Geshe Kelsang Gyatso's book How to Solve Our Human Problems for this course as a rough guide and point of reference. (This book is highly recommended as a companion to the course, but is not required reading.)
